1st Dec Parade

All cadets whom have completed the CSSP badge module are to turn up on 1st December for the Muster Parade. I will be giving out the new CSSP badge to all 24 of you. Please do take note that this is a new badge and VSNPCC is among the first few or may even be the first NPCC unit in Sinagpore to receive the new badge. This will imply that you may be the first 24 NPCC cadets in Singapore to don the badge on the uniform. Make sure you turn up tomorrow to be part of this piece of history.

Training Forcast for Nov-Dec 2006

To facilitate your planning for the months of Nov-Dec, here is a forcast of parades, training and activities. This is so that you can keep your parent informed in advance about NPCC activities and trainings. This forcast drawn up so that you can plan your time wisely.

If you attend these planned trainings without fail, you can look forward to completing your 3rd Class Drill, 2nd Class Drill and Total Defence (Silver) badges before 2006 ends. Not to mention your NYAA Bronze Badge in Feb 2007! So encourage and remind your friends about these dates.

Please note that Physical Recreation and drill trainings/muster parades count towards your SKILLS & PHYSICAL RECREATION components for your NYAA.

Self Defence Course

Barrack Leader Training

For all barrack leader interviewees there will be a BL training before parade at 655am

In addition, since the camp date is nearing, the barrack leaders and assistants will be announced on 1st of december. (about 2 weeks from now) So please work hard for it.

Further changes to UTC.

After consulting school management, the UTC is further brought forward to 19, 20 and 21 December 2006. I hope this will be final.

Withdrawal from Joo Chiat event

To the 10 gentlemen selected for the Joo Chiat event, after considering our Unit CIP, I have decided that we will not participate in the event. All sec 2 cadets will proceed with the CIP.

Joo Chiat Emergency Preparedness Day 2006

The following gentlemen have been selected to represent VSNPCC at the event held on 25 Nov 2006 2pm to 6pm at Laguna View/Laguna Park (next to VS). Parent Info Forms will be issued in due time. I understand that its also our Unit CIP day. You maybe out in the morning in the city area for CIP but you guys need to return to Siglap Link in the afternoon. Attendance is compulsory.

Please take note that our Unit Training Camp 2006 has been brought forward to 20, 21 and 22 December due to the Secondary 1 registration.

Parade on 10/11/2006

Please take note that there will be a parade next fri, 10/11/2006. The parade will start at 8am sharp and all cadets are to fall in in your full uniform. Muster parade will start at 8.45am sharp. Attendance is compulsory and latecomers will not be tolerated. Thank you.
